Influenced by medieval tapestries, I have always wanted to paint hounds. The colours, details and vertical composition were in my head as I created these paintings. A friend asked me to paint her whippets and at last I was able to work on an idea that had been in my head since I went to the Musee Cluny in Paris in 1983.
