Sheep Rush, Casa Toro
Oil on Canvas 28 x 28 inches
Although this painting was done a year or two ago, it is from a much older memory. I was staying at a remote farmhouse in the Umbrian hills in Italy when suddenly there was a cacophony of bells, bleating and shouting. This is what I saw out of the window. I took a photo and used it for reference for the initial drawing then put it away and allowed just the memory to come to the fore. The Italian sheep are quite different to English – much more goat like.
A3 print, but squared off, £25.
